There is a widespread consensus among riders that WTB’s wide range of saddles offer excellent solutions for preventing sore rear ends, and the High Tail, unveiled a year ago, is the company’s latest addition to this line. It was developed in collaboration with Chris Cocalis of Pivot Bikes and suspension genius Dave Wiggle, who both sought a saddle with additional rear-tire clearance for long-travel bikes (mostly 29ers), where the seat and the tire often come in contact with the suspension fully compressed.
For this test we have got the popular Oozy trail295 wheelset for review, 27.5” wheelset based on a 29.5mm outer width and 25 mm internal width. Compared to the rising trend of wider rims this width is positioned at the middle of the range between more traditional 23mm rims to wider more modern 28-30mm rims.
25mm is a good size for those who are looking for a little extra traction and confidence needed for aggressive trail riding and enduro style riding.

The Yari fork: A lower priced version of the lyric aimed at the OEM market but also available as an after market product. It uses the new and upgraded Motion control damper, this is an open bath damper similar to what you will get inside the less capable Revelation fork as well.
An also the chassis of the new Lyric fork. So what we have here is a fork which is heavier and stiffer than the Pike with less sophisticated (but not much less capable from what we had experienced ) internal damping.
